.)M1917 DOUBLE DECAL ALLGEMEINE-SS STEEL HELMET; RESTORED RECREATION: remarkable recreation that looks absolutely authentic. Genuine M1917 steel helmet with lugs on sides; shell lovingly restored with smooth black enamel finish. Both SS and national colors swastika shield decals are excellent reproductions and impeccably applied. With superb Norwegian pigskin leather liner which looks and feels very much like a genuine Third Reich period example. Also has brown leather chinstrap, also Norwegian but very much like the real thing. Underside of shell is marked with German maker's code 'Q', this being a genuine German M1917 shell and with large size '66'. Leather is size stamped '66' for large size that will fit even the biggest head. This is an absolutely splendid recreation; superb+ condition with slight wear around rim (intentionally done to give helmet a bit of age) and a few mild scuffs and scrapes to finish here and there. You will not be disappointed with this gem. SOLD

.)THIRD REICH GERMAN ARMY MOUNTAIN TROOPS LEADER'S BADGE; EARLY REPRODUCTION: beautiful German-made forty-year old copy of A+ quality. Dimensions are correct 42x51mm; vaulted construction with frosted silver finished back now toned with tarnish. Separately applied silver metal edelweiss flower device with gold finished details. On fine quality cloisonné glass enamel base, green center with white glass enamel border. At base is army mountain leader designation "Heeresburgfuhrer". Edges of white enamel border are trimmed with gold. Reverse of badge has correct pin-back arrangement and is maker marked 'Deschler & Sohn, Munchen'. This is an exceptional early copy. SOLD

.)CASED 1939 IRON CROSS 1ST CLASS, EARLY 1960'S COPY: this is an exceptional reproduction and not one of the commonly encountered Flock pieces encountered out there in the market. I can only surmise that this fine piece came out of Austria or Germany some thirty five+ years ago and now it has toned with a pleasing rainbow patina. Smooth black enamel finished center is perfect, well detailed swastika and crisp '1939' date. Note that the beaded edge on nickel-silver frame is well defined and not washed out. Now tarnished with a shimmery toning, both obverse and reverse. With precise high quality nickel-silver hinge and correct tapered nickel-silver pin that's marked with maker's code '43'. Black leatherette case, 2 ¾" square, with silver embossed EKI design on lid; functioning spring button catch. Interior is lined with cream-white flocked material and is slotted to accommodate hinge/pin assembly. Upper interior is lined with padded white satin. This fine early reproduction is made precisely to the proper period specifications, made with the right nickel-silver materials; it's completely on the money and looks very much like a genuine period specimen. SOLD

.)THIRD REICH 'KUSTENSCHUTZ DANZIG' SAILOR'S SERVICE CAP; HIGH QUALITY REPRODUCTION: wonderful early 1960's reproduction that's so impressive that I'm reluctant to give it up. The 'Kustenschutz der Danziger Marine Polizei' (or literally the Danzig Coast Guard) was just that, a marine unit of the Danzig para-military police. Plenty of photograph evidence exists to showcase this obscure security unit of the Danzig Marine Police or coast guard. Sailor's cap is indeed a genuine German 'Bundesmarine' 1950's era service cap, aged and yellowed over the years to indeed appear quite genuine Third Reich period. With high quality reproduction "Kustenschutz Danzig" cap band, full length and properly tailored and positioned on cap. White top is mounted to navy blue wool base with genuine pigskin leather sweatband. On front is the skull insignia of the Danzig Homeland Police, the para-military constabulary which supported the entry of the Third Reich into German populated Poland. This nickel-silver skull is quite impressive although a copy and has crimson wool backing behind eyes. Below is the Danzig stamped metal cockade with red finished center. This is a great cap, a wonderful display item of the finest materials and construction. There's not another like it out there. You won't be disappointed! SOLD

.)ARMY PARACHUTIST'S BADGE; EXCELLENT QUALITY COPY: obviously an early reproduction intended to deceive when made. Now convincingly aged to look very much like the real deal. This early copy displays what appears to be a genuine eagle device, separately applied, well detailed and properly 'grayed'. Very impressive fletching details and talons. Gold finished vaulted wreath is intact and lightly toned from the years; well details and nicely made. Reverse of badge has two flat rivets and has typical assault badge type hinge and 'C' hook catch, pin is brass metal and is pointed. This is a superb quality early copy.SOLD

.)SPANISH CIVIL WAR GERMAN "LEGION CONDOR" PANZER BADGE FOR ARMORED TROOPS: prinzen-size early copy, constructed of high quality nickel-silver alloy, solid and well made. Dimensions are 30x38mm at its widest points. This is a particularly impressive piece, well detailed and disturbingly genuine in its appearance. Note the crispness of the skull details, the tank and wreath below. High quality silver alloy 1cm wide hinge on back and long nickel-silver blunt pin. SOLD

.)1939 KNIGHT'S CROSS OF THE IRON CROSS WITH OAK LEAVES AND SWORDS; REPRODUCTION: splendid early copy, excellent quality workmanship typical of the material coming out of Austria in the 1960's. Measures precisely 49.5mm wide and 54.5mm high from base to top of eyelet. Smooth black matte finished center, crisply detailed swastika and well struck '1939' date. Silver metal alloy frame is now nearly black with tarnish. Note too that the beaded edge on cross's frame is quite crisp. Marked '800' on back of frame just below eyelet. Absolutely exquisite Oak Leaves with Swords device, genuine sterling silver composition and marked '800' on loop; nearly black with sterling tarnish. Clean 17" length of Knight's Cross ribbon, correctly 45mm wide and quite identical to the original period fabric. This is an outstanding forty-year old copy! SOLD

.)PANZER OFFICER'S DRESS VISOR CAP: nothing about this cap suggests that it is indeed a reproduction, except perhaps for the fact that little evidence of use is apparent when examining it. Constructed of superb, officer quality field gray doe skin wool. Remarkable high peak and perfect visor cap profile, nice saddle shape and piped around crown and around upper/lower dark green badge cloth wool cap band with pink wool for panzer troops. Perfect smooth black patent leather visor with brown checkered underside. At front is 60mm wide stamped silver metal national eagle; below is a stunning silver bullion wire hand embroidered wreath and cockade, padded and three-dimensional on dark green badge cloth wool underlay. With silver bullion cord officer's chin cord fastened at sides with 12mm wide silver pebbled officer buttons. Interior of cap is lined with gray satin fabric and has fine quality brown leather sweatband. Celluloid moisture shield is marked with maker "J.Schalmeyer, Hamburg 'Sudseehaus". With size label '58'. Leather is embossed with "Deutscher Industrie" (German Workmanship). Bar none, absolutely, positively, the finest of the finest…this cap looks and feels every inch of the real deal! It's spectacular. SOLD

.)PANZER GENERAL OFFICER'S BLACK WRAP-AROUND TUNIC WITH M43 FIELD SERVICE CAP AND MATCHING TROUSERS: a reproduction, of course, but nonetheless an pretty impressive piece of tailoring! There's very little about this finely worked ensemble that even a purist would find detracting. Fine officer quality black wool and superbly tailored to the exact specs of the original period uniforms even including the zigzag stitching around collar's underside. Rear is correctly tailored of two panels with half-way darts. Concealed button double-breasted front with a total of nine black composition buttons. Collar tabs - which are machine sewn in place -- have silver finished stamped metal skulls on 32x67mm black wool underlay and with 2mm wide pink wool piping. Shoulder boards for rank of 'General der Panzertruppen' with gold/silver braided cord on pink wool underlay; each has 15mm wide gilt finished pebbled button. Has Russian Front Medal ribbon in button hole and has three sets of loops for badges. Spectacular hand embroidered gold bullion wire breast eagle on black wool underlay. Sleeves even have the correct two-button closure. Interior of uniform is lined with typical gray brushed cotton and has tie cords for waist tightening, fabric tabs with reinforced holes for belt ramps. Has interior pocket and is size ink stamped and dated '44'. Trousers are equally as impressive; of matching fine office quality wool; five composition button fly and with buttoned rear hip pockets, two front slash pockets. Interior of trousers partially lined with same gray brushed cotton fabric. Sides of trousers lined with double 25mm wide crimson wool stripes for general officer and with 2mm wide center stripes. Tunic is about a US size 40 and trousers are waist 32 to 34" (easily could be tailored to fit a larger waist, there's a lot of fabric) and 38" long. Lastly, comes with M43 panzer general officer's M43 cap of fine quality black wool construction. With black wool covered visor, piped around crown with 3mm wide gold metallic cord. At front is spectacular hand embroidered gold bullion wire M43 cap eagle for general officer and two 12mm wide gold pebbled buttons. Interior of cap is lined with black cotton and is marked "Erel" and with size '59'. This absolutely fine uniform was tailored in Germany, of that there is no doubt! It's spectacular. A genuine period Panzer General's uniform of similar quality would market fro around $25,000 and so this splendid copy is a bargain at SOLD

.)SENIOR DIPLOMATIC OFFICIAL'S PEAKED VISOR CAP; HIGH QUALITY REPRODUCTION: such a superb reproduction of the highest quality workmanship that there's little about this visor cap that appears to be a copy. Perfect saddle shape, high peak and handsome profile; constructed out of high quality black melton cloth wool. Heavily padded and bolstered. This piece of headgear is absolutely breath-taking. Piped around crown and around upper/lower black wool cap band with 2mm wide gold metallic cord. With massive gold bullion wire hand embroidered diplomatic type cap eagle on black wool underlay and meticulously hand applied. Below is hand embroidered gold bullion wire wreath and cockade, heavily padded and three-dimensional. With perfect smooth black patent leather visor having brown underside and with gold cellon braided chin cord fastened at side with 12mm wide gold pebbled office buttons. Interior of cap has genuine brown leather sweatband with decorative yellow silk bow at rear seam. Tan silk lining with clear celluloid moisture shield with gold stamped maker "Wertsiegel". Identical to the authentic Third Reich period specimen as shown in Angolia's In the Service of the Reich, Diplomatic, Government Officials and the German Red Cross, page 127. This cap is spectacular nearly beyond description. Huge size, continental '60'. You will be absolutely thrilled with it. EXC++++$285.00.

.)CONFEDERATE STATES ARMY ARTILLERY STANDARD; 1960'S REPRODUCTION: wonderful reproduction of the CSA artillery battle flag as sold during the early 1960's centennial. I love getting these 1960's reproductions when we can find them, being such a popular item these days. Fine quality heavy white cotton fabric, double-sided with screen printed details. Dimensions are 38x38". White border shows mild age yellowing from the years, some minor soiling and one small rip to fabric in lower right corner. Has two heavy duty brass grommets at bunting. Marked with maker along bunting 'Sherritt Flag Company, Richmond, Virginia'. If this flag stays here mounted on the office wall for a while, that's OK with me….it's pretty neat. Great display item and a vintage 1960's flag in its own right. SOLD
