G564.)KRIEGSMARINE SLIDE RULE: 3rd RCH German navy slide rule in its original cardboard carton. Rule is 12" long and appears to be genuine ivory laminated to a quality wooden base. Made identically to every other slide rule ever produced with ruler on one side in inches, ruler in centimeters on the other. Underside has all the usual conversion charts as found on these. It's missing the clear lucite slide however one can easy be found on Ebay (buy and old slide rule, the slides are all universal and will fit this one. Inside of rule is marked with eagle/'M' German navy property marked and Kiel maker 'ALBERT NESTLER'. Also marked with 'Eigentum der Marineschule Kiel' (Property of the Naval School at Kiel). Black cardboard carton is also marked with this maker and German Naval School property marking. EXC++++
