RD586.)LUFTWAFFE PILOT'S BADGE, NAME ENGRAVED: a totally spectacular vintage forgery, as fine as any original. Remarkable circa 1970's counterfeit with nickel-silver wreath, attractively toned with patina. Gun metal gray finished eagle motif with crisp feathering, sharply cut-out wing tips, crisp details to eagle's talons. I cannot praise this one enough. It was examined by one of the hobby's top experts and condemned as being a clever, old fake and one that would easily pass as genuine. Reverse has high quality hinge and pointed silver pin. Two perfectly domed rivets. Back of eagle is marked with premiere maker 'C.E.Juncker, Berlin SW'. Back of wreath is engraved with recipient's name 'GENERAL DER FLIEGER MSX RITTER VON PUHL'. EXC++++
