Awarded en masse to the Condor Legion and known in German as the Spanische Kriegerkruez. Constructed of a quality nickel-silver alloy and with separately applied glass enameled boss in center.  Shows the royal Spanish coat-of-arms (rampant lions and fortress towers). With latin motto around border 'AL MERITO EN CAMPANA' (For Meritorious Performance in the Field). With stamped gold alloy wreath having cross swords. Starburst bae is heavy and solid, impressive. Reverse has long pin that curves up at top. Two rivets on the reverse and side hooks. EXC++++
