OC616.)WWII SOVIET RUSSIAN TANK CLOCK: note the link below showing a similar WWII Soviet Russian tank clock being offered on eBay by a Ukrainian dealer. These WWII clocks were removed from derelict Soviet armor and presented to tanker veterans. The one that we're offering here is actually jeweler engraved with presentation on the base. 2 3/4" wide instrument panel clock with black face and luminescent numbers. Hands too are luminescent; red finished seconds hand. Mounted inside a clear Lucite frame with gimbal mounting. With decorative Lucite base that's engraved with recipient's name along with other Cyrillic characters and presentation date '1956'. To wind the clock up you turn the metal frame at front....pull this unit out and you can re-set the hands. I was able to get this clock to run for a bit a couple of times but only for a short spurt. In a great state of preservation despite not operating.
