You can easily discern the American eagle watermark impressed in the paper, upper half of sheet. Letterhead is engraved at top with panoply of Allied flags and MacArthur's title 'GENERAL HEADQUARTERS, SUPREME COMMANDER FOR THE ALLIED POWERS, Office of the Supreme Commander'. Letter is addressed to journalist 'Daniel Poling' and MacArthur thanks him for the flattering article that he wrote in LOOK Magazine. Boldly signed in ink below 'Faithfully Yours' salutation.
