Brown composition grips, checkered. Grips are intact and have vent holes at base near cross-guard. Both the pommel and cross-guard are finished with a nickel plating, mild wear only. Functioning spring button for bayonet lug channel. Black finished steel scabbard showing mild wear and age, light surface spidering. Scabbard throat is marked with serial number '3439' and opposite is maker-marked and dated 'MUNDLOS 38'. EXC++++
