Remember that in 1935 all of the various, independent German veteran's groups, organizations and leagues were consolidated into the 3rd Reich Nazi Party sponsored National-Sozialistsch Reichskriegerbund (National Socialist Veteran's League). Fine glass enameling on frosted gold base. With '50' at top for fifty years....no doubt this aged veteran served in the First World War. Reverse has horizontal swing pin and hooded catch. Marked on the back with German design patent protection 'Ges.Gesch.'. Comes in gray cardboard carton which is pretty much intact but for a couple of seams being separated on the lid. EXC++++
