Hyper-rare and very desirable imperial flag, World War One and earlier. Double-sided typical nautical woolen fabric with printed details. Dimensions are 32x46" and shows national colors red/white/black horizontal field with crowned anchor in the center, Prussian imperial eagle in the upper canton. Upper right corner shows wear from wind-whipping and flag overall shows mild soiling from the years. Couple of small moth bites here and there but not bad at all. Has white canvas bunting with rope loop. Note too the period inked name '14 Nisce' (likely the name of a German vessel?).
