Handsome 35mm wide silver cross with perfect glass enameling. Separately applied central bosses on each side  -- one with red enamel Christian cross and on the other the date of this order's institution '1871'. Has latin motto 'Ordo teut Humanitati' (Teutonic Order of Humanity). Has clean ribbon in the typical Austrian tri-folded configuration. Comes in high quality and attractive maroon leatherette hinged case with functioning spring button catch at front. Interior of case is lined with plush gray velvet and is recessed to perfectly hold cross and folded ribbon above. Upper interior of case is lined with padded white satin and is printed in gold with Viennese premiere imperial orders and medals maker 'ROTHE NEFFE, Wien' along with 'Juweilere K.u.K Kammer' (Jeweler of Royalty and of the Chamber=K.u.K Kaiser und Koenig).
