Has Christian cross in center surrounded with wreath border, pebbled field background. With separately applied campaign clasps and dates 'SPARTAKUS 1919/23' and 'RHEIN/RUHR 1923/24' (for participation in the anti-communist uprisings in Berlin 1919-1923 -- the Spartacist Uprising -- and the communist Ruhr Uprising 1923). Reverse has spring clip pin-back and is marked in raised relief letters with German design patent protection 'Gesetzl.Gesch. 102' and maker 'PAUL KUST, ABZEICHEN u.
