Underside of porcelain has premiere china maker's mark 'Rosenthal, Kunstabteilung, Selb'. Comes in intact 4 1/2" square, hinged, black leatherette case with functioning spring button catch at front. Interior is lined with plush purple velvet and is recessed to perfectly accommodate award. Upper interior is lined with padded white satin. Flawless and perfect! EXC+++++
