Vaulted construction with smooth, black finished, magnetic center. Crisply detailed and impressive. Note too how crisp the beaded edge is to the silver frame. Three-piece construction of course. Reverse has high quality hinge and pointed pin. Back of cross is handsomely toned with years of patina. Comes in deluxe wooden case which has two metal hinges and functioning spring button catch at front. Interior of case is lined with plush blue velvet and is deeply recessed to perfectly hold cross in place. Upper interior is lined with padded blue satin and is gold printed with Prussian eagle. Has '14 EK ribbon diagonally in corner. Remarkable in every respect. EXC++++
