Highly vaulted and with flawless, smooth black enameling to magnetic center. Three-piece construction. Nicely detailed features and in high relief. Genuine silver frame is mildly toned with years of patina. Revers has threaded screw-post; back of cross is finished with a now rainbow tarnished silver frosting. Crisply marked on the base of the reverse lower cross arm with silver content '800' and the Maybauer shield logo. Has silver alloy Iron Cross shaped washer and silver locking nut that has raised finger grip and is marked with 'D.R.G.M.' German design patent. EXC+++++
