Genuine silver precious metal. Separately applied cross swords device, crisp and impressive as hell as are the four national eagle motifs located in each quadrant. Perfect glass enameling to center. Reverse has domed rivet in the center, high quality barrel hinge and tapered silver pin. Crisply die struck on pin with maker's code '21' and silver content '900'. Comes in its 4" square red leatherette case, hinged and with silver clasp at front. Gold embossed national eagle on the lid and trimmed with gold border. Inside is lined with black velvet and is recessed to accommodate hinge/pin assembly. Upper interior is lined with padded ivory shade satin. Printed too with this decoration's title 'Deutscher Adlerorden II. Stufe mit Schwertern'. Case is in a good state of preservation and shows some minor age and wear from the years. EXC++++
