Companion sleeve edelweiss is the field uniform type and removed from a uniform. Shows mildly soiled details from use. Heavy machine embroidered on German army field gray wool. Lastly, edelweiss badge for the mountain infantry field cap. Stamped zinc alloy with separately applied gold stamen motif. Badge has four separately drilled holes for sewing to the field cap.
