G3484.)CASED MEISSEN PORCELAIN MEDALLIONS: matched set of two porcelain medallions commemorating Hitlers 50th birthday. Each is 35mm wide (the size of a US silver dollar) fine porcelain china finished with a brown application and with raised relief portrait of Hitler and dates '1889   1939' and '20  4' for April 4th, 1939. Set comes in 2x4" hinged leatherette covered case with decorative catch at front. Marked on the lid with the Meissen crossed swords logo. Interior of case is lined with plush velvet and is recessed to hold both medallions, upper case is padded. One medallion is finished with gold details, the other is plain as made. Underside of case has remains of an old paper label dated '29.4.1944'. EXC++++
