Jan. 1945'. Typically a police officer would have been issued an ausweis as an identity paper, not a German army soldbuch. 4x5" format with 'Soldbuch' title. Has his photo on the inside cover tied to page with issuing agency ink stamps with eagle/swastika and 'Polizeiprasident Abschittskommando Hafen in Stettin' (Police Leadership Command, Harbor Section at Stettin). Named to police NCO 'Adolf Lorenz' with his rank shown on page 1 'Oberwachtmeister der Polizei'. On page 2 is notation that this Soldbuch was issued to him '30.Jan.1945' and with ink stamp 'Wasserschutzpolizei LS Abscnittskommando-Hafen'. On page five are shown his awards: 1914 Iron Cross 2nd Class, 1914-1918 Cross of Honor (Frontkampfer=frontline fighter) and Police Long Service Cross. EXC++++
