Copiously filled out with 11 pages of ink stamps, notations, signatures. Named to 18-year old RAD work foreman (Vormann) 'Rudolf Rodiger'. ID book was issued to him '7.8.1943' and with his photo tied to inside page with RAD issuing agency eagle/swastika ink stamp 'Reichsarbeitsdienst Bauabteilung 6./222' (National Labor Service Construction Battalion 622). Pages 4 and 5 detail the locations of the construction projects that he worked on (Ewersbach, Kassel). Lots of entries on page8 which show that he worked on German army construction projects in 1943 (Heeres in Heimat=German army in the homeland). In 1944 he was in France manning an anti-aircraft flak batterie ('R.A.D. Flak-Batterie Frankriech'). Interesting notation on page 12 that indicates that he completed an anti-espionage course in 1943 'Spionageabwehr' (Counter-espionage). Pages 24-25 detail all of the clothing and equipment that he was issued including a steel helmet (Stahlhelm). Note too the detailed entries on page 29 which show that he served as a flak battery crewman in France....13.12.1943 bis 19.3.1944 in besonderen Einsatz in Luftwaffe bis RAD Flakbatterie 6/222 im Frankreich (Luftflotte 3)....special replacement in the Luftwaffe's RAD anti-artillery battery in France, Air Defense District 3).
