There's no question that Forman's example is original given that the photo is from Dr. Kleitmann's 1944 catalog. Constructed of a quality bronze alloy and handsomely burnished. Really well detailed; I really like this badge. It's a milk-chocolate brown quality alloy. Reverse has a smooth, burnished finish along with the correct hinge and horizontal swing pin.
