Reverse has high quality hinge and tapered pin...entire reverse of badge is gun metal blued. Marked in crisp raised relief letters with the designer 'FEC.OTTO PLACZEK, BERLIN' and the maker 'AUSF. A.G.M.u.k 4, GABLONZ'. Pin on the reverse curves up slightly at tip. Miniature is actually a prinzen size stickpin. It's 25mm wide and is mounted to knurled pin. This fabulous original period set comes in the original dark blue leatherette case, 3 1/2 x 4" dimensions. Hinged and with functioning spring button catch. Inside of case is lined with plush blue velvet and is slotted to perfectly hold full size badge while the stickpin has a fabric loop for the pin. Case is intact, mild wear and age. EXC++++
