Addressed to 'Frau Katharina Hecker' and informs her of her husband's death from injuries when his damaged plane crashed 'Verletzungen Verstroben' (died of injuries). Also states that he died for the people and the fatherland ('fur Volk und Vaterland'). Letter has been folded in fours and is intact but for a few splits at creases. Photo is intact. EXC++++
