Has Austrian type hook-and-claw clasp on the back and its original ribbon bar pinned to ribbon. With its award document having typed details awarding a LW NCO the 'Rumanische Medaille Kruezzug gegen den Kommunimus' (Romanian Medal, Crusade Against Communism). Dated '1.7.1944' and with issuing agency ink stamp and signed at base by 'Hauptmann und Staffelkapitan'. Shows his Luftwaffe unit as 'I./T.G.2, 2 Staffel' (2nd Squadron of the 1st Transport Group).
