G531.)FIVE (5) POST-WAR WEST GERMAN FIRE FIGHTING SERVICE CROSSES: 1960's Bundesfeurwehr (West German Fire Fighting Service) crosses for loyal and faithful service. Grouping includes the three (3) Bavarian Feuerwehrkreuz (Fire Service Crosses) being the bronze, silver and gold levels of this award -- a complete set -- with early non-glowing ribbons. Each cross has raised relief inscription on the reverse 'Fur Verdienste im Feuerloschwesen' same as the 3rd Rch era fire fighting awards 'For Faithful Service in the Fire Fighting Service'. These are exceptional quality and with the silver and gold finishes being frosted; bronze is handsomely burnished. Full length Bavarian blue/white colors ribbons. Other 3 are for the North Rhine Westfalen State. These are the 3rd Class (silver), 2nd Class (gold with ribbon) and 1st Class (pin-back breast badge). These three too are high quality awards with fine glass enamels on quality alloy, frosted and gold finishes. Both the 3rd and 2nd Classes have pin-back ribbons and the 1st Class Cross has quality hinge and pin-back. All have inscription on the front wreath 'Fur Verdienste im Feuerloschwesen' and all have the separately applied Rhine-Westfalen enamel shields. A really handsome collection. EXC+++++
