G641.)3rd RCH PERIOD NCO'S VETERAN'S VISOR CAP: handsome veteran's cap being of the NS-Reichskriegerbund (National Socialist War Veteran's League). Displays a perfect profile and shape. Tailored of a fine officer quality black melton cloth wool and piped around the crown and around the upper/lower black mohair wool cap band with white wool. Both the NS-RKB eagle device and cockade below are original to this cap and have handsomely toned over the eighty-years with a super-attractive tarnish. Separately applied national colors rosette in center of wreath. With smooth black patent leather visor having checkered brown underside. Visor is in a really good state of preservation; one minor, tiny chip on the edge and scattered surface crazing. Silver bullion chin cord is darkly tarnished too and is obviously original to this cap. Fastened at sides with domed, smooth black-finished buttons. Inside of cap is lined with brown oil cloth and has intact brown leather sweat ban, soft and supple and intact. Stitching too is strong and robust. Only remains of the clear moisture shield are present. Silver-printed maker too inside crown with bold NS-RKB eagle motif and 'Mutze des Soldatenbundes' (Headgear for the Soldier's League). A beautiful visor cap showing a few really minor and tiny moth bites here and there. EXC++++

This cap is in its original state of condition and has been un-fooled with. Someone mentioned that the insignia for officer's of this league should be gold. I don't believe so; gold insignia would be for naval veteran's of the NS_RKB.
