G820.)3rd RCH GERMAN 1938-DATED 5RM SILVER COIN: lovely 5RM von Hindenburg silver coin that's been 3rd-party graded by NGC (Numismatic Guarantee Corp) and encapsulated in clear lucite with label. Identified by NGC as a 1938A German 5Mark silver coin in About Uncirculated 55 state of preservation (AU55). This coin still shows its mint silver frosting. Obverse is bust view of von Hindenburg with inscription '1847-1934 Paul von Hindenburg' while the obverse shows the eagle/swastika national emblem along with denomination '5 Reichsmark' along with 'Deustches Reich 1938'. Has NGC anti-counterfeiting hologram on the back. EXC++++
Just as another note, the German 5-RM silver coin contains about 1/2 ounce of .900 silver so the intrinsic silver value alone on this coin is easily $35.00.
