On German army of W-SS field gray wool underlay, 72mm wide from point-to-point. Hand embroidered black thread swastika which is bolstered and three-dimensional, edged with silver bullion thread. On white ribbed silk-like underlay and with stamped gold wreath edged on both sides with twisted red cord. The number '9' in the '1939' date has that characteristic flaw that we like to see. Starburst is gray thread hand embroidered with silver metallic tips. Has gray tissue paper backing and is white ink maker marked. Stellar and none finer. EXC+++++
