G906.)NSDAP PUBLISHED PORTFOLIO OF AH WATERCOLORS: limited edition publication by the NSDAP being the 1935 titled Adolf Hitler Acquarelle (Watercolors). This is only second such example that we have ever offered. This is the first publication of these. Released by the Reichsbildberichterstatter der NSDAP (the National Propaganda Office of the NSDAP), seven watercolors from Hitler's World War One experience. Watercolors are each litho printed on superb quality fine art paper and are protected with tissue paper wrapper. Each one is identified with the title of the subject and its date. These are all housed inside 9x12" hardbound cover that opens to reveal fold-out flaps that protect these prints when stored inside. Complete with 8x12" fine paper fold-out discussion on this collection of watercolors; shows list of all seven and credited to 'Heinrich Hoffmann, Reichsbildberichterstatter der NSDAP'. Inside of folder is dated '1935' in Berlin. These are absolutely superb color prints and each is 9x12'. All are World War One subjects and are detailed in the narrative; for example, Klosterruine in Messines Dezember 1914 (Ruins of the Cloisters in Messines). Ardoyne in Flandern, Sommer 1917 (the village of Ardoyne in Flanders), Hohlweg bei Wyschaete Hebst 1914 (trenches at the front). Overall in a great state of preservation. Binding is intact and strong, watercolor prints are all superb, couple of minor marks on the cover here and there. EXC++++
