Clean ribbon mounted to metal frame with crimson wool backing. Pin-back arrangement. Bronze pendent is darkly toned with patina and the clasp has a few tarnish spots. Formal 6x8" award document with early type LW eagle at top (down-turned tail). Title is 'In Namen des Fuhrers und Obersten Befehlshaber der Wehrmacht' (In the Name of the Fuhrer and the High Command of the Armed Froces). With typed details to Luftwaffe signals NCO 'Unteroffiziere Heinz Burgard' and 'I./Lg.Nachr.Rgt 6' (1st Air Defense District, 6th Signals Regiment). With this regiment's ink stamp at base showing eagle/swastika and 'L.G.Nach.Rgt (mot.) 6' (note that this LW signals regiment was mechanized).
