With red ink stamps at top 'Geheim' (secret) and 'Einschreiben' (filed). This original document comes with a complete translation from German to English language....every detail is noted. With genuine Rommel signature at base in his typical blue pencil. Translation shows that this document concerns the bestowal of the 1939 War Merit Cross 2nd Class with Swords to sixty-nine members of Rommel's Afrikakorps. Note the paragraph which states: 'Truppenteile der Panzergruppe Afrika zugeteilten KVK 2.Kl m.Scw.'. (distribution of the 2nd Class War Merit Cross to troops in Panzergruppe Afrika).
