RD3352.)AWARD DOCUMENT FOR THE GERMAN CROSS IN GOLD: a masterful old counterfeit, dangerous and clever as hell. Really, really good. It appears to be a genuine period award document, however I cannot completely establish that as being the case. The paper quality is surely present -- something which is never found with the more modern counterfeits. Radiates age and is hyper-convincing. Dimensions are quite correct 10x15" and is printed at the top with German Cross motif.  With the typical and correct heading which translates to 'In the Name of the Fuhrer and the High Command Leadership of the German Armed Forces'. Awards him the 'DAS DEUTSCHE KREUZ IN GOLD'. With typed details named to 'Oberleutnant Oskar Michlendorf' who served with German army mechanized infantry '4./Pz.Gr.Rgt./Bat. I'. Awarded at Headquarters of the German Army High Command (Hauptquartier Oberkommando des Heeres) on '26.April 1942'. With facsimile Keitel signature at base with typed details 'Generalfeldmarshall der O.K.H.' along with eagle/swastika ink stamp. Only an expert of paper and award documents would recognize this as being a clever old copy and one made to screw you for sure. Has been folded, mild convincing age evident. EXC++++
