RD3898.)W-SS OFFICER'S SLEEVE EAGLE: a  very clever and dangerous old fake just recently removed from the sleeve of an original uniform. The M36 officer's tunic was actually an original German army officer's tunic that had been 'enhanced' if you follow me. This eagle is just superb. Hand embroidered silver bullion wire details on cut-to-shape black wool. It's still in a vaulted shape from having been on the sleeve so long. Impeccably executed silver bullion wire details and accented with black threads for contrast. The eagle's body is done in round, tubular bullion while the wing shoulders are executed in hammered tinsel. Has the correct thin black tissue paper backing just like a real piece of bullion embroidery. Machine stitching holes around the reverse border. EXC++++
