Recently condemned by an expert in the field of imperial German aviation badges and identified as a real clever and dangerous one that you'd not likely identify as being the stellar fake that it is. Constructed of a quality genuine silver, oh so well detailed and with separately applied eagle/target motif. Hollow construction as it should be and with separately applied silver plate on the back, vent hole at the base. Has high quality hinge on the back and tapered pin that comes to point. Note how the back of this badge has that characteristic rayed pattern. Die-struck with the maker 'Carl Poellath, Schrobenhausen' and 'SILBER'.
