Black grade is solid and had quality hinge and pin on the back, same with the gold type which is nearly identical but for the gold finish. Silver grade is stamped silver alloy and shows some toning. Both the black and gold pieces are identically maker marked on the back the familiar, premiere Berlin maker 'Wagner, Berlin 14'. EXC++++
