Yet another stellar vintage forgery that was bought years ago for a small fortune only to be condemned by some expert. Entire piece is convincingly tarnished. Crisp and impressive with separately applied burnished gray panzer motif and separately applied '25' plaque at base. Reverse has high quality hinge that is properly crimped into place, tapered silver alloy pin and quality 'C' hook catch. Two perfect rivets on the back. Wreath is solid while the panzer motif if scooped out. Not maker marked. Identical in every respect to the specimen illustrated in Niemann's massive reference Order and Decorations of Germany 1871-1945 page 607 (top left) EXC++++
