Separately applied 'US' in center on shield. Horizontal pin on back with roller catch and crisply marked 'STERLING'. A dangerous and very well-made vintage copy. Kerrigan in his 'American Badges and Insignia' page 13 identifies this wing as the circa 1918 US Army Aviator's Wing. EXC+++++
