Tailored of a quality German army field gray wool and piped around the crown and front pleat with the correct, micro-braided gold cord. Really impressive. Has gold bullion general officer's soutache at front. BeVo machine embroidered cap eagle, meticulously hand sewn on. Below is bullion national colors rosette. On each side of cap is green-finished, field gray enameled ventilation grommet. Interior of cap is lined with brushed cotton and is ink stamped with size '60' and date '1940'. Also marked with premiere cap maker 'Robert Lubstein, Berlin NO55'. In a great state of preservation. Outstanding. EXC++++
