Cockade is on cut-to-shape navy blue wool. Smooth, black patent leather chin strap fastened at sides with gold anchor buttons. Visor is wool covered too and embroidered with gold celleon acanthus leaves. Cap eagle is stamped, gold-finished alloy. Interior of cap has genuine brown leather sweat band with decorative white silk bow at rear seam. Dark blue satin lining and with clear celluloid moisture shield.
