Army shade #103 rough sand application shell, good condition. With dark OD canvas web chin strap, black-finished hook-and-claw release buckle. Liner OD green finish is intact and in the interior shows light wear and age from use. Brown leather sweat band is dark from use. Interior webbing is dark shade OD, still soft and supple. Has additional canvas duck tabs that snap liner into place on shell. Paratrooper type chin strap. Mitchell pattern double-sided camouflage cover that's '68' dated. Cover shows pin holes, mild sun fading and general, overall tropical aging. Not distressed, just aged from use. With OD elastic helmet band that's stenciled with 'BAND, HELMET, CAMOUFLAGE, U.S.' Nice VN War paratrooper helmet! EXC++++
