This short-lived version was replaced by the 1939-1940 Vichy France version and still later by the 1939-1945 type. Solid bronze pendent with separately applied bosses on both sides. Clean original ribbon with typical French type double-pronged mounting. Has single bronze star device on the ribbon for 'Mentioned in Dispatches at Regiment Level' citation. Super-fine example.
