Tailored of a quality melton cloth wool and with infantry-blue, ribbed, silk cap band. Beautiful gold tresse adorns the top and bottom borde4rs of the cap band, this litzen is handsomely toned with years of patina. Shows a stunning frosted gold American eagle at front, looks like it just came out fo the freezer. Just glitters with genuine gold powder sintering. Reverse is marked to the premiere 'Luxenberg' with 'Made in England'. Gold tresse chin cord which is likewise attractively toned from the years, fastened at sides with frosted gold eagle buttons. Perfect smooth patent leather visor with brown underside. Interior of cap has plastic sweat shield marked with 'Luxenberg, Fifth Avenue, New York'. Marked too with gold printing on the flawless brown leather sweat band. Has this officer's calling card inside 'William Lyon Porte'. This card is without question orignal to this cap and you'll agree; card is aged and firming in place beneath the shield. Stitching on sweat band is intact and strong.
