US726.)SPANISH-AMERICAN WAR ERA US ARMY OFFICER'S UNIFORM: circa late Span-Am War/Philippine Insurrection, M1903 infantry officer's tunic, trousers and cape. Tunic is double-breasted fine officer's melton cloth woo, fire gilded American eagle officer buttons. Stand-up collar trimmed with officer's gold tresse and with infantry blue wool band. On cuffs are gold officer's foil and 12mm gold tresse now toned with a pleasing patina. All fourteen gold buttons are present on tunic and marked on the back to the premiere West Coast military outfitter 'B.PASQUALE CO., SAN FRAN, CAL.'. Inside of neck area has tailor's label 'John G. Haas'. Inside pocket has cloth tailor's label that is inked with officer's name 'Capt. Edw. Bell' and dated '7-2-1903'. Complete with sky blue wool dress trousers having officer's side stripes. Comes with officer's wool cape too. Tunic is missing the shoulder boards (has loops for placement of these) and missing too the infantry crossed rifles devices on the lower sleeves. These cross rifle devices are sew-on types and cn typically be found at military shows. No mothing to trousers (just some shallow tracking), some stains to pants. Light mothing to the tunic on the collar only. Beautiful uniform, fantastic period tailoring. EXC+++
