US1029.)CASED WWII USAAF AIR MEDAL: a lovely early, first-issue type with full wrap brooch mounted pin-back. Beautiful burnished bronze pendent, clean. Ribbon is clean and perfect too, has two Bronze Oak Leaf Clusters for a total of 15 combat missions. Comes in black leatherette case and has pin-back ribbon bar with two OLC's and with matching enameled lapel button for civilian attire. Case likewise is intact and in a perfect state of preservation.
