The only reason why you'd know that this gem forgery is a fake is that we are telling you that it is. Genuine silver table medal and so marked on the back. 35x80mm dimensions with crisp high relief details, perfect and crisp. Impressive as hell. Shows medieval Nurnberg town scene at top with 'NURNBERG' and political eagle resting on swastika and M17 steel helmet. Inscription is '1919 NSDAP' (the year that the NSDAP was founded) and below 'Parteitag 1929' (the first organized party day). Reverse is correctly marked with maker and silver content 'F.HOFFSTATTER, BONN' and '800'. According to an NSDAP directive issued in 1936 all of those members who attended the 1929 rally were entitled to this award, very much like an NSDAP gau badge. Comes in 2x4" maroon leatherette case, hinged and with spring button catch at front. Gold embossed on the lid with this award's designation 'Reichsparteitag Nurnberg 1929' with early NSDAP eagle motif. Interior is lined with plush maroon velvet and is recessed to hold medal. Upper interior is lined with padded white satin. EXC+++++
