This gem quality counterfeit is aged and oh so convincingly toned with years of patina. This one too just came out of an old collection and had to be vetted by two of the hobby's top experts. You would easily consider this badge to be genuine, it's that dangerous. Constructed of a wartime zinc alloy and finished with a gold application that has now turned in places to a gray tarnish. It's impressive as hell, crisp too. Separately applied silver alloy panzer motif with two perfectly formed rivets on back. Panzer motif is scooped-out, semi-hollow. Has high quality hinge that is properly crimped into place and tapered, brass pin. 'C' hook catch is correct too.....it's mounted inside a circular pedestal. Marked with familiar 'JFS' logo in raised relief letters; Josef Feix & Sohn, Ludenscheid'. Just totally outstanding. Why pay $ for an original (that you will to defend forever) when you can have this gem stunner for but a fraction of the price? EXC++++
