Tailored of a quality black wool and shows a perfect 'coffee can' profile and shape. Properly tailored in every respect. Has two black-finished ventilation grommets at sides. Both national eagle and totenkopf skull device are old, high quality peice3 and have handsomely aged with years of patina. Very convincing. Quality of metal insignia is superb. With black wool visor, black leather chin strap with black-finished adjustment buckles and fastened at sides with smooth black buttons. Interior of kepi is lined with black cotton fabric and has clear celluloid moisture shield. Silver printed with hat maker 'SCHLENBERG' and with 'Sonderklasse' (special class tailoring). Has genuine black leather sweat band inside -- soft and supple and intact -- die struck with 'DRGM' German patent protection. EXC++++
