RD1090.)GERMAN ARMY ARNHEM CAMPAIGN SHIELD: exceptional fantasy piece; such a campaign shield was never authorized. This stunner demands a bit of narrative: an unbelievably dangerous old and vintage piece being magnetic campaign shield showing national eagle/swastika and date '1944' and 'ARNHEIM' (that would be the battle for the strong point at Holland's Arnhem). Also shows the river Niederrhein which flows through Arnhem. Shield is mounted to German army field gray wool underlay and is meticulously machine cross-stitched to piece of uniform sleeve. Made to appear as if it was cut directly from a uniform. Ask for more up-close and detailed pics! You would easily consider this fabulous old piece to be genuine! EXC++++
