RD1100.)FEMALE HJ BdM LEADER'S CUFF-TITLE: it took the only true 3rd Rch cloth insignia expert -- George Petersen -- to identify this gem as being a fake some time before he passed away. As he said at the time "It will pass as real, no one today would know" and he was quite right. This piece of cloth insignia just radiates originality. Can't say that I have ever seen another one of these out there in the collecting field. 17" long overall and 35mm wide. Impeccably hand embroidered with now tarnished details -- absolutely perfect! -- 'Sudost-Steiermark' (for HJ district South East Steiermark located at what is today the alpine Styria district). Edges folded over on back and has intact paper RZM tag that sure appears to be genuine! Does not glow under a black light. EXC++++
