US587.)THREE (3) VIETNAM WAR US ARMY 1st AVIATION BRIGADE PATCHES: a very appealing grouping, all original VN War period. On is a standard US-made Schiffli machine embroidered patch encased in a clear plastic pocket hanger. Patch is cut-edge, embroidered on twill (like a WWII era patch). Has a white cloth backing fabric and brown fabric hanger. Companion piece is Vietnamese-made, hand embroidered on a weird Asian cloth. Edges are folded over on the back and removed from a uniform. Mild paper and glue residue on the back from prior scrapbook mounting. Lastly, a really outstanding theater-made example. Not sure if it's Vietnamese or maybe Japanese (?)....don't know for sure but it's surely genuine and not recent Vietnamese-made crap. This one too was removed from a uniform or flight jacket (you can discern the stitching around the border). EXC++++
