The 26th Yankee Division patch is an early-war type with blue machine embroidered YD monogram on chocolate brown wool. Has black cloth backing fabric. Companion patch is machine embroidered blue thread arrowhead/'T' on khaki undelay. Border has been folded over on back and machine sewn in place. Removed from uniform. These are both early patches; neither is the standard wartime cut-edge type, Schiffli machine-embroidered on twill. EXC++++
